      Product description

      Rommelkruid is one of those spice blends where you immediately notice that a lot is going on. Warm, spicy, lightly sweet and with a subtle kick. Van Beekum combines coriander, allspice, anise, cloves, cinnamon, fennel, garlic and nutmeg, among other spices, into a full-bodied blend with a wonderfully old-fashioned character.

      Traditionally, rommelkruid is used for balkenbrij and homemade sausage, but that’s certainly not where it ends. Mix it into ground meat, use it in stews with pork or beef, or give a savoury pie or stamppot an extra kick. This blend even works surprisingly well in spiced baked goods.

      A distinctive spice blend for those who want something different from the standard BBQ rub.
